Week 2
Today I’m starting my second week of P90X. It was shoulders and back this morning. It was nifty being able to work out with my friend because he has a pull bar. I’ve never been able to do a pull up in my life. Right now I’m doing them with a chair but hopefully I’ll be able to work my way up there.
I’m still planning on running this afternoon. I’m doing 2 miles at the moment working toward doing a 5K. I have a feeling it will be rough today. On Saturday Pat and I did sprints instead of Kenpo and I’m still sore. I haven’t run at that high of an intensity since I quit soccer 3 years ago.

Update
Things have been a little crazy with moving back home for the summer, getting sick, signing up for classes as a transient student, taking classes, finding a job, and just wanting to hang out with all my friends I don’t get to see during the year. But I’ve finally settled into it all, so no more excuses.
I’ve been running with my friend Pat at least once a week and now I’m working on running every other day. I’m running a minimum of 1.5 miles and my current goal is to be able to do a 5K. I’ve also started P90X, today was my third day so I still have a long way to go with that.
I want to try and incorporate sprinting as well as just running. I’m going to try and throw that in at least once a week.
